Call Out the Press Gang!

VolunteersNeeded

The Texas City Museum is having its annual Maritime Exhibition on Saturday, March 30, from 1000 to 1600 (weekend after next). The event is open to the general public, and includes displays and stations for all things maritime – modern industry, history, education, etc.

The Texas Navy Association has a table reserved, primarily to promote the TNA-produced film, “How the Texas Navy Saved the Revolution,” to educators and homeschooling parents. Additional educational material, TNA membership info, and some hands-on activities will be included, as well.

We will need 4-6 volunteers (total) for three, two-hour shifts. Volunteers need to be able to talk to the public, promote the film, interact with kids and families, and generally be good public ambassadors for the TNA.
