In celebration of the recent introduction of the Texas Navy 1836 Dark Rum, the Charles E. Hawkins Squadron is pleased to introduce the official drink of the squadron:
Invincible: The Drink
(“Drink one and you’ll feel invincible”)
1½ ounces 1836 Texas Navy Dark Rum
1 ounce Añejo tequila
3 ounces grapefruit juice
Lime juice to taste (prevents scurvy)
4 ounces ginger ale
Crushed fresh mint
This may or may not have been invented by Adm. Paula Morris. It’s quite a mystery, really.
