With two boats, Latitude 35 (US) and Row for James (UK), having completed the 2016-17 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, what team will finish third is very much in contention. As of Friday afternoon the American Oarsmen from Houston, currently in fourth place, have trimmed the lead of the third-place scull, Soulo Gav (Eire) to just six hours.
