Dear TNA Members and guests,
As mentioned in the recent Texas Navy Association Newsletter, on this coming Saturday 12 November, Galveston’s historic Rosenberg Library will host not only the 4th quarter TNA board meeting, but also our annual membership meeting.
The quarterly board meeting will commence at 1330 and the membership meeting will commence at 1630 or when the quarterly board meeting is over. Check the marquis or check with the front desk for the assigned meeting room.
Beginning with cocktails at 1830 (cash bar) there will be a dinner for TNA members and guests in the 9th floor Viewfinder Terrace room (www.moodygardenshotel.com/meetings-events) at the Moody Gardens hotel.
The meal will be banquet style with three meal choices costing approximately $40 per person. Those choices include shrimp scampi, sirloin steak, and stuffed chicken breast. The attire is coat and tie (or coat and no tie) for the gentlemen, and comparable dress for the ladies.
For those who will be staying overnight, The Moody Gardens hotel (409-741-8484) may have rooms available for as low as $159/night. Several Admirals are staying at the Harbor House hotel (409-763-3321) on the waterfront.
Please accept my apology for this late notice-the fault is all mine. We have reserved meals for 30 attendees, and can increase that number if we know soon enough.
